{"id":6,"date":"2011-07-02T00:38:12","date_gmt":"2011-07-02T00:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.josephweekly.com\/?p=6"},"modified":"2011-07-02T00:38:12","modified_gmt":"2011-07-02T00:38:12","slug":"not-so-weekly-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.josephweekly.com\/?p=6","title":{"rendered":"Not So Weekly Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m back from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/freelancer30\/sets\/72157626970258403\/\">Canada<\/a> and had a wonderful time.\u00a0 The weather was spectacular.\u00a0 Being back in Memphis has been rough.\u00a0 I love this city, but the brutal summers are really throwing into doubt our long-term future together.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m getting ready for another trip in a couple of days and once again find myself unpacking and repacking.\u00a0 I expect to have some amazing photos when I return.<\/p>\n<p>While away I\u2019ve decided on a new direction for this blog.\u00a0 Over the next few months I\u2019m going to be chronicling the progress I\u2019ve made on two new goals.\u00a0 The first is to become a full-time vegetarian.\u00a0 This will be a lofty goal given my current love affair with Chick-Fil-A, but it\u2019s something I\u2019ve been planning on doing for a very long time and have not followed through.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been extremely shocked by the negative reactions I\u2019ve received so far for making this transition, but I expect that will subside.\u00a0 The second goal is to radically increase the amount of cardio in my life.\u00a0 The other day I looked in the mirror and realized I was no longer happy with the way I look and have decided to take charge before it gets out of control.\u00a0 Plus, I\u2019m headed to the beach in August and want to look good.<\/p>\n<p>Expect more when I return from my Icelandic adventures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m back from Canada and had a wonderful time.\u00a0 The weather was spectacular.\u00a0 Being back in Memphis has been rough.\u00a0 I love this city, but the brutal summers are really throwing into doubt our long-term future together.
